Faced with this pressing and impactful need, two paths crossed in Orlando. Jose Castañeda, a professor with a logical and practical mind for electronics, and Alejandra Quintero, an expert with a strategic vision for finance, refused to be mere spectators of this crisis.
They both understood that the loneliness of these mothers couldn’t be cured with good intentions alone; it required real tools. They realized that by combining the structure and training needed to launch a business, they could offer something no one else was providing: a clear path to independence, dignity, and support.
Thus, on February 25, 2019, what began as a deep concern officially became Proyecto Vida Inc., a non-profit organization born with an unwavering mission: to be the support network these families had lost.
